Rosebank has a thriving art scene with a number of galleries and dealers trading in all mediums along the 'art strip' which includes the more established Goodman and Kim Sacks galleries.

Outdoors

Rosebank is outdoors and pedestrian friendly – Due to its compact size, visitors, residents and employees are able to walk the area, enjoying the outdoor atmosphere, en route to their destination.

Growing

Rosebank's infrastructure projects and property developments augur well for the future of the node. Areas located directly around future Gautrain Stations are attracting great interest.

Gautrain Update at Rosebank Station

Within the tunnel bored by the Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) from the south end of the station, the invert slab is complete and casting of walkways was completed towards the end of September 2009. Invert slabs and walkways within the Drill & Blast (D&B) tunnel from the north end of the station to Shaft E5 are complete.

EMERGENCY ACCESS SHAFT E5 (DUNKELD, ROSEBANK)

Excavation and lining of the emergency access shaft E5 at Rosebank/ Dunkeld, is completed. Civil works within the shaft, as well as in the safe haven and the adjacent sections of the tunnel, are in progress.

EMERGENCY ACCESS SHAFT E6 (ILLOVO)

The shotcrete shaft lining and excavation of the safe haven at the bottom of this shaft have both been completed and the underground civil works within this section of the tunnel are ongoing.
