Rosebank has a thriving art scene with a number of galleries and dealers trading in all mediums along the 'art strip' which includes the more established Goodman and Kim Sacks galleries.

Outdoors

Rosebank is outdoors and pedestrian friendly – Due to its compact size, visitors, residents and employees are able to walk the area, enjoying the outdoor atmosphere, en route to their destination.

Growing

Rosebank's infrastructure projects and property developments augur well for the future of the node. Areas located directly around future Gautrain Stations are attracting great interest.

Goodbye Nedbank Gardens

Nedbank Gardens will be demolished on Sunday 22 April 2012 @ 8am. There are planned road closures from 6am and the road closures will last for 2 and half hours.
The road closures will be as follows:

  • Sturdee Ave, Bath Ave and Baker will be completely closed.
  • Bath and Sturdee will have a barrier at Tyrwhitt Avenue, Bolton Road and Cradock Avenue.
  • There will also be barriers at Cradock Ave at Arnold and Baker Streets

The Mall of Rosebank will be closed from Saturday 21 April 2012 @ 12:00 and will re-open on Sunday 22 April 2012 @ 08:30 am.

Please Note - that members of the public will not be granted access to watch the implosion.
