Entertainment
Rosebank provides an array of entertainment to its residents and visitors at a variety
of shopping malls, pavement cafes, restaurants, markets, luxurious hotels, cinemas,
arts galleries and night clubs.
Art
Rosebank has a thriving art scene with a number of galleries and dealers trading
in all mediums along the 'art strip' which includes the more established Goodman and
Kim Sacks galleries.
Outdoors
Rosebank is outdoors and pedestrian friendly – Due to its compact size, visitors, residents
and employees are able to walk the area, enjoying the outdoor atmosphere, en route
to their destination.
Growing
Rosebank's infrastructure projects and property developments augur well for the
future of the node. Areas located directly around future Gautrain Stations are
attracting great interest.
The Zone keeps growing
Sli hails from Durbs, where she worked at the massive MegaCity. She
came to Joburg seeking bigger challenges and more knowledge. "The Zone
is vibey and young - like me! I feel at home here, it's a reflection of
who I am ..."
The 158-room Holiday Inn will be ready in time for the Fifa 2010, and the entire development is a short walk from the
soon-to-be-completed Gautrain station in Rosebank and the Bus Rapid
Transport system. The basement parking will also link through to The
Firs shopping centre.
